What Patients Are Saying

What my patients say is extremely important to my sense of accomplishment. That’s why I do my very best to guarantee that each one of them is happy with both the explanations and treatment provided.

“Following multiple fractures to my elbow in April the entire service provided by Mr Arya was outstanding. From my initial assessment and operation to the follow up and removal of tension band wiring, Mr Arya has consistently clearly explained each procedure, providing great care and advice during the rehabilitation period post operation. I’m pleased to have made such a full and speedy recovery and would like others to benefit from such treatment in the future.” -- Alice

“I would like to thank you for the efficient care and for the courtesy and kindness towards me at all times.” -- Satyam

KEYHOLE SURGERY OF THE ELBOW

Keyhole Surgery is an increasingly popular treatment of several elbow conditions, chosen for its quick recovery. By inserting a camera through a tiny cut in the skin, it eliminates the need for large incisions. Also called ‘arthroscopy’, this minimally invasive treatment is quick to carry out and does not require the patient to stay overnight. Patients are able to use the arm again the following day.

Mr Arya received specialist training in keyhole surgery for the elbow joint at the world famous American institutions of Mayo Clinic and Tulanes Hospital and is now one of the largest practitioners in south London, conducting 40-50 keyhole elbow surgeries each year.

Conditions treated using Keyhole Surgery include: Locking of the Elbow, Loose Bodies in the Elbow and Stiff Elbow.
